MBRAUN and its preferred partner network combined their specific expertise in inert gas technology and slot die coating in order to develop a tool that addresses the process requirements in emerging markets such like Organic Light Emitting Diodes (OLED), Organic Photovoltaics’ (OPV) and Thin Film Batteries.

UV Clean - Preparation of substrates
The solution developed by MBRAUN is a system for UV ozone cleaning of semiconductor and optical surfaces and is widely used in the electronic and semiconductor industries as well as in scientific research fields including biology, chemistry, physics and materials science. The process provides a clean, hydrocarbon-free optical surface with significantly improved thin film and UV resin adhesion characteristics.
The electrolyte filling unit is designed for integration to a MBRAUN glovebox. It combines the automated and reproducible filling and sealing of a pouch cell in vacuum and under inert environment. Several devices are available, the MB-ELFI for pouch cells up to the most advanced systems able to fill specific prismatics.
MBRAUN integrates climate chambers to test your device under different conditions. Testing your batteries under different temperatures is now possible under inert atmosphere.
