During my 21 years with the company, I have gained a wealth of experience. I started as a mechanic and have since progressed to become Mechanical Assembly Team Leader at MBRAUN. There is never a dull moment in my role, as my work is highly varied and allows me to work independently. The balance between office work, collaborating with colleagues and staying close to the final product while projects are being assembled at our facility is particularly important to me.

I have a strong affinity for numbers and genuinely enjoy preparing reports and conducting analyses. That may sound boring to some, but I find my work at MBRAUN extremely varied. For me, the size of our company is ideal: we are large enough to operate successfully on a global scale while still placing great importance on personal interaction and direct communication throughout the organization.

During my commercial apprenticeship at MBRAUN, I gained valuable insights into every department, which greatly benefit me in my current role. This broad experience enabled me to develop a deep understanding of our internal processes and technical product portfolio. To expand my knowledge further, I successfully completed a part-time degree alongside my work. Since then, I have been working full-time in Marketing, supporting both offline and online marketing activities as well as internal and external communications.

What I value most is the supportive working environment and the company’s commitment to personal and professional development. As a vocational trainer in electrical engineering, I also supervise our technical apprentices and dual-study students. I am given a great deal of trust and independence in my work and have learned a great deal through various training and professional development programs. This strong commitment to continuing education has played a major role in my career development.

When I joined MBRAUN more than 25 years ago, I never imagined that I would stay with one company for so long. I continue to encounter new and interesting challenges that allow me to grow and develop. I started in production planning, moved on to project management and eventually joined Sales. What I particularly appreciate about MBRAUN is that we offer technically fascinating products that our customers use to develop the latest technologies. This means we need to respond to changing requirements quickly and flexibly, drawing on our extensive expertise. Systems engineering is a team effort and an enjoyable one. That is the key to our success!
