The MBRAUN MB-300-IGMS was the purifier which was connected to the first ever built OLED manufacturing line. It quickly gained worldwide reputation amongst OLED suppliers because of its reliability, stability and ease of operation. With an installed base of over 200 units it looks back on years of successful operation. Being part of the IGMS series it is the worldwide recognized industrial standard in mass production of OLEDs under controlled environments. Exclusively used for the large scale manufacturing environments where system downtime, reliability and stable operation are vital the MB-300-IGMS proves its outstanding performance – 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
Equipped with two redundant, fully regenerable filter units this gas purifier is literally the backbone of nowadays OLED encapsulation process. The adsorption capacity and the encapsulated high-performance blower offers unequalled opportunities to purify connected inertgas enclosures of up to 12 m³ and achieve working environments of less than 1 part per million oxygen and moisture. In contrast to other commonly available gas purifiers, the IGMS features a full control of all connected utilities like working gas, control gas and regeneration gas.
Features of the smaller IGMS series purifiers such as a powerful Mitsubishi control unit, a multi-color 8.4'' touch panel, a dry vacuum pump, an open platform for future upgrades, frequency control for the blowers, electro-pneumatic valves as well as full stainless steel piping are all incorporated. Functions like the automatic leak test (ALAS) and the automatic purge function offer a maximum of process reliability. Built on MBRAUN's high quality standards all subcomponents are made of stainless steel and/or are manufactured from distinguished suppliers.
The current comprehensive array of optional items from the G-series is extended with additional features specifically designed for industrial use. The most popular features include remote control panels, an enhanced control unit with custom data interface, quick purge units and a larger operation panel.
Just like the other purifiers available at MBRAUN the MB-300-IGMS is equipped with MBRAUN's proprietary, in-house produced oxygen and moisture sensors that have been specifically developed for glovebox operation. The IGMS has a complete sensor set integrated into the purifier. The combination of both, MB-300-IGMS and MBRAUN's sensors allow for an accurate and consistent monitoring of the working atmosphere that is nearly maintenance free, with quick response times and reliable.
For restricted spaces a compact version is available. With its reduced overall height and a reinforced frame with castors the IGMS allows easy move in and uncomplicated installation. With its capacity and flexibility offered by additional options such as Mitsubishi Q-series, VCR connectors, quick purge units and custom data interfaces the IGMS is the system of choice to fulfill all requirements for industrial production.
